Farzaneh Saadati es profesora asociada del Instituto de Estudios Avanzados en Educación y directora alterna del Centro de Investigación Avanzada en Educación (CIAE), centro con financiamiento de ANID albergado en dicho instituto. Es doctora en Diseño Instruccional y Tecnología en Matemáticas por la University of Putra Malaysia, magíster en Topología y Álgebra por la Universidad Shahid Chamran de Ahvaz, y licenciada en Matemáticas por la Universidad Tecnológica Amirkabir (Politécnica de Teherán). Su área de investigación se centra en el desarrollo profesional docente y la educación matemática. Es miembro del Board of Trustees y del Comité Internacional del International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME), una prestigiosa organización que reúne a investigadores en educación matemática de todo el mundo.
Farzaneh Saadati is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Education and Alternate Director of the Center for Advanced Research in Education (CIAE), an ANID-funded research center hosted by the Institute. She holds a PhD in Instructional Design and Mathematics Technology from the University of Putra Malaysia, a Master’s degree in Topology and Algebra from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Her research focuses on teacher professional development and mathematics education. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and the International Committee of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME), a prestigious organization that brings together mathematics education researchers from around the world.
