Farzaneh Saadati is currently working as a researcher at the Centro de Investigación Avanzada en Educación (CIAE), Universidad de Chile. Farzaneh does research on teacher professional development and mathematics education. She did her undergraduate studies in pure mathematics (BA) at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) and in topology and algebra (M.Sc.) at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. After graduation, she worked as a lecturer at several Iranian universities. She later pursued her study in the field of mathematics education at Universiti Putra Malaysia where she obtained her doctorate in Instructional design and technology in mathematics.
